Halo 3 is a first-person shooter video game exclusively for the Xbox 360. The Game holds the record for the highest grossing opening day in entertainment history. It is the Game of the Year and may be the best too. For this reason the Halo 3 Xbox 360 edition was developed. The design is a lot different to the normal Xbox and it is a little bit cheaper than the elite edition. It has an exclusive Spartan green and gold finish. It just looks spacey and like not from this world.

Everywhere you turn, the news of Xbox 360's Halo 3 release is out there. The game is garnering such attention because the franchise has been so successful and this is the latest and greatest. Halo 3's release is one of the biggest video game events to date. Part of the reason for this is the coverage the game is receiving. Halo 3 Becomes The World's Biggest Selling Game
Halo 3 has become the biggest ever entertainment event in history, surpassing such events as the release of the next Harry Potter book and the release of Spiderman 3. In the first 24 HOURS it grossed an estimated $170 million in the US alone.
Even before any retail shop opened its doors it had sold 1.7 million copies in pre-sales and with 10,000 stores holding Midnight Madness events up and down the country the scenes were reminiscent of major movie premiers.
Times Square in New York was abuzz with fans awaiting the official release at midnight with major sport and TV personalties joining in the celebrations.
With retailers across the country reporting phenomonal demand for the game Bob McKenzie, Senior Vice President for GameStop Corp said that,"The initial demand we've seen for Halo 3 is astounding, and the game is on track to being the number one gaming title of all time."

The greatest
Who wouldn't agree? Halo 3 is obviously the greatest video game known to man. After years of trial and error with first person shooters I believe Halo 3 has set a standard that can not easily be reached. When I play Halo 3 I think about how many years it took for a gaming software company to finally come up with a concept that would hook the first person shooter addict just like Golden Eye, and Perfect Dark did on the Nintendo 64. Well I guess I can say it was worth the wait. I know their are allot of "Halo 3 haters" out their that think Halo 1 & 2 are better. Well who really cares? All I know is that Halo 3 made more money then allot of box office hits this past year, what other game titles have come even close? That just proves that Halo 3 is the greatest video game known to man.
